Join local fiber artist, Oriole Golding, for our B*tch & St*tch Hand Embroidery Workshop: a cathartic evening of stitching, stabbing, wine, and whining. Long week at work? Boss won’t get off your back and your co-workers are driving you crazy? Feel like you need to let out some stress, but it’s inappropriate to scream in public? “There’s nothing better after a rough day than stabbing something a thousand times!”
Grab a glass, share some laughs, and make new friends, all the while creating a one-of-a-kind art piece. This workshop is open to artists of all levels: beginners, masters, and everyone in between. Learn the basic stitches of hand embroidery or get some tips on the more advanced techniques of this timeless craft.Our Protohaven-exclusive patterns are designed to be both appealing and relaxing. Choose from several designs to suit your style, or take an embroidery kit home with you if you can’t decide. Students will walk away with the know-how to make beautiful embroidered art on their own and a piece of one-of-a-kind home decor!
Wine, water, hot tea, and soda will be provided, but bringing your favorite craft beer or malt beverage is encouraged!
