Youth Program Coordinator (Entrepreneurship)
Protohaven seeks a Youth Program Coordinator to successfully facilitate 77, a year-round youth program focused on making and entrepreneurship. This is a 20-hour/week position that starts in mid-July. Protohaven’s Shop Tech program is a co-development program where participants build their design, fabrication, interpersonal, and shop management skills while helping shape and support our community. It is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about design, fabrication, and helping to lead a clean, welcoming, and functional community shop.

Education at Protohaven is key to nurturing the makers in our community! We’ve spent the last few years building a top-quality makerspace that includes laser cutters, 3D printers, electronic and jewelry benches, and full textile, wood, machining, welding and metal shops. Each of those areas needs excellent teachers who are eager to nurture the maker in our members as they develop and discover skills.
Teaching Fellows (not currently accepting applications)
Protohaven’s Teaching Fellowship is a six-month program that is designed for makers looking to enhance their pedagogical skills. The Fellowship program happens twice a year and offers two seats each session. The Teaching Fellowship team plays a key role in creating a rich, supportive learning environment that brings value to students of all skill levels, while enhancing their ability and confidence as an instructor.
